Sales and Marketing Executive
Role and responsibilities
The Sales and Marketing Executive will work under the supervision of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and will report to him, with a dotted line of reporting to the CEO. His/her responsibilities will comprise inter alia:
1. Identify and develop new market segments for Mauritius sugars with the view to expand the existing market base
2. Assist the CMO in developing marketing strategies for Mauritius sugars
3. Manage portfolio of existing customers (local and international)
4. Develop world class KYC approach
5. Organise marketing cooperation/plan in support of customers’ brands
6. Work on projects like market and product development and e-commerce
Profile
The Sales and Marketing Executive should have: A post-graduate degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Admin/Management or International Trade
- At least 5 years’ working experience in international marketing and business development
- Good research and strategic analytical skills
- Effective negotiating skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Be alive to commercial challenges and opportunities
- Be self-driven and result-orientated
