Our sugars are made from freshly cut Non-GMO canes. They are finely crafted, honouring our ancestors’ savoir-faire, and preserving the rich history of Mauritius. With their intense flavours, and deep colours, they reflect the country’s melting pot nature. They are a  true celebration of our heritage and unique terroir.

The entire community of planters, responsible for the production of around 300,000 tonnes of sugar, joined the Syndicate on a voluntary basis, which led to the Mauritius Sugar Syndicate becoming the sole organisation in charge of the sale of sugars produced on the island.
